In May 2021, Chatillon Architectes, in collaboration with Snøhetta and NC Nathalie Crinière, completed the renovation of the Musée Carnavalet – History of Paris. Four years of extensive work were required to enhance the building, rediscover its architecture, bring it up to code, improve accessibility, and elevate the visitor experience—all with one guiding principle: “renew everything without changing anything.”
