A key moment of the restoration works of the Nouveau Grand Palais
In february, the Grand Palais went through one of the key moments of its restauration works: the last wall which separated the Nef from the Palais d’Antin was knocked down, revealing one of the original perspectives of the building. A crucial step, this departitioning embodies the stake of the restoration project: rediscovering the large perspectives that crossed the Grand Palais in 1900, from East to West and North to South, creating, at their junction, a central place dedicated to the visitors’ wandering.
